Veterinarians
Dr. Lisa Williams, DVM
Dr. Williams, who is originally from West Virginia, graduated from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture with a bachelor of Science in Large Animal Science. She then attended West Virginia Graduate School for Large Animal Repro Phys. She received her DVM from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Office Manager
Nikki Linger
Nikki was originally part of our team from 07-09, but her love of animals and their people couldn't keep her away for long and she returned to Chesapeake Vet Clinic in 2013. She has a bachelors degree in Art Education which she obtained from Marshall University in 2007.When she is not at work she spends her time on the water kayaking, enjoying the West Virginia mountains or at home with her 3 cats Lexa, Luna, and Lincoln and her 2 boxers Emori and Murphy.
Veterinary Technicians
Mai Johnson, RVT
Mai is a Registered Vet Tech that has been with Chesapeake Vet Clinic since May of 2018 after graduation from the Vet Tech program at MCTC. Her hobbies include anything outdoors but especially off-roading and camping. When not at work she can mostly be found spending time with her husband Spencer, 2 kids- Adyson and Taylor, 3 dogs, Trigger, Harley and Sadie and Phoenix the cat.
Veterinary Assistants
Hailee Thacker, Vet Assistant
Hailee is a graduate of Chesapeake High School. She just recently started working as a vet assistant. She adores animals of all kinds. Hailee has 3 boxers, Brutus, Harmony and Hendrix and her 3 cats Otis, Mister and Luna. During her free time she likes to paint, Garden and going hiking. She also loves to spend time with her family and boyfriend.
Allie Pratt, Vet Assistant / Kennel Tech
Allie is a graduate of Chesapeake High School. She joined our team in October 2022. She has a dog named Delta and 2 cats, June and Mittens. Outside of work Allie enjoys reading, painting, scary movies and spending time with her fiancé and family.
Kristyn Wintz, Vet Assistant
Kristyn is originally from Lesage, WV and resides in Huntington, WV. She loves traveling and recently started going on cruises which she loves. She has 4 cats and 1 dog. When she's not at work she enjoys gardening, the great outdoors and tending to her house plants.
Destiny Workman, Vet Assistant / Kennel Tech
Destiny is a 2015 Spring Valley High School grad who has spent her entire life loving and caring for animals. Her love of animals started as early as 2 years old when according to her mom, she found a stray puppy and brought it in only to end up catching mange from it. Destiny has passed on her love for animals to her son, which makes her very happy. When she's not working with your babies, she is spending time with her family and friends. She hopes that everyone she meets along her journey with Chesapeake Vet Clinic sees and appreciates her hard work and compassion for all fur babies!
Kennel Technician
Cambria Nutter
Cambria has been part of our team since August of 2021. She has been working as a kennel technician for about 5 years. She plans to eventually go to school to obtain her Veterinary Technician degree. When she's away from the clinic you can usually find her listening to music, reading or prepping for her dungeons and Dragons game. She has 3 cats, Smokey, Cinna, Katara and a hound dog named Tessa. She loves connection with the boarders; always making them feel loved and comfortable while they stay with us.
Receptionists
Christina Ferguson
Christina grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. She has 2 amazing sons and has adopted her niece and 3 nephews. She has 2 dogs, and a bird. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Nichole Linger
Nichole is originally from South Charleston, West Virginia. She has 1 son, 2 dogs and 3 cats that she adores. When she isn't working she is spending time with her family.
Groomer
Jessica McKee
Jessica has been grooming for 25 years. Before that she attended Collins Career Center for Agriculture and Animal Science and went on further to attend Ohio University Southern for Equine Studies for an Associates Degree. She has trained dogs for obedience and show for 5 years. Jessica has 3 kids; Madison, Jayden and Brayden with her husband Britton McKee. They also have several furbabies, 3 German Shepherds; Kira, Loki and Ciri, an Aussie; Arya, a Chihuahua; Mia and a Shetland Sheepdog; Savannah.
